Tigers Eye Obelisk Ruby Kyanite chrysocollaTiger's Eye, a semi precious gemstone, is formed through a natural process of pseudomorphism. This process is where quartz replaces crocidolite fibers (blue asbestos). Crocidolite is altered to iron oxides and then replaced by silica, creating a unique chatoyant effect (a silky, moving light effect). These pieces are polished into an obelisk shape. You will receive one piece selected from our current stock. All pieces are of similar size and quality.
