Germany, Ss. A Waffen-Ss M43 Field Cap Auction Archive small cracks in the leather(Waffen SS Einheitsfeldmtze). This is an extremely well preserved Waffen SS M43 field cap, constructed of field gred grey wool. The cap features fold down side panels, providing neck and ear protection for the wearer which, when not in use, are rolled up and held in place by two pebbled magnetic metal buttons emanating from the right panel, meeting an equal number of reinforced buttonholes on the left.
