An ovular badge constructed of gilded and silvered tombac, the obverse centre bears a cut out Viking style ship with a dragon head stempost, on board the ship is a soldier holding a spear in front of a row of shields, the ship is sailing on the northern end of the globe and the globe has longitude and latitude lines throughout and the embossed outlines of Great Britain, Western Europe and North Africa, this is
